Born on February 10, 2000, Erick Mars emerged; starving for musical sounds from a young age, He was shaped by the profound influences of his upbringing. Growing up surrounded by the melodic ambiance curated by his mother and sisters, he was introduced to the timeless sounds of iconic artists like "Elvis" and "The Beatles."

Age 2017 - 2018
Erick Mars, a multifaceted musical artist, embarked on a dynamic creative journey by immersing himself in a plethora of musical pursuits. From the very beginning, Mars displayed an innate passion for music, enrolling in an array of classes that would shape his distinctive artistry during his time in Besteiro Middle School.

In Lopez Early College High School. Despite not following the traditional sequence, he dove headfirst into the world of music by honing his skills through piano, choir, and even advancing directly to guitar 2, showcasing an inherent aptitude for mastering various instruments.

Erick Mars, a prodigious musical talent, found his harmonious home within the choir team at Lopez Early College High School. With his exceptional vocal prowess and unwavering dedication, Erick Mars contributed significantly to the team's resounding success. His dynamic range and emotive delivery enriched every performance. Erick Mars learned how to work with his low notes from a profaned basses named Gustavo Hernandez. Mid range notes from baritone notes from Filiberto Barajas, and high tenor notes from the class guide JP Gonzalez.
Mars' audacious spirit and thirst for knowledge also led him to the realm of theater, where he delved into the intricacies of acting. This eclectic range of influences, from his musical endeavors to his theatrical pursuits, became the cornerstone of Erick Mars' artistic identity, infusing his work with a rare depth and versatility that continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
Before his major build of acting, His peers taught him how to show emotions with words and facially. Actors who helped; JP Gonzalez, Alice Abundiz, Maddison Jones, Tiffany Campbell, John (TBT) and Ismael Garza.

Meeting Jose
In a serendipitous twist of fate, the musical artist Erick Mars crossed paths with a man named Jose Montoya. However, their initial encounter was anything but smooth, as misunderstandings and disagreements cast a shadow over their meeting. Tensions rose, and it seemed like a friendship was out of the question. Enter Anthony, a mutual friend of both Erick and Jose, who stepped in as a mediator. With his calm demeanor and remarkable ability to diffuse conflicts, Anthony saw the potential for a genuine bond between the two.
As they opened up and learned more about each other, their preconceived notions dissolved, and they discovered common interests and shared passions. Later on Erick would ask Jose to release music together.

Making a band was Erick's main priority, Jose Anthony and another agreed to join. Their first band was called 4 Steps later on the band failed to meet together and practice, then a new band was named called Lyrics, after one meet up the band sang songs and later on disbanded after three weeks.

Out of everyone in the band, Erick noticed Jose was musically talented.

The Making of 499 2019

Erick soon studied music and broke down what each line and pattern that was made of on each of their songs. At the age of 17, Erick was closer to crafting his own form of style. It wasn't until Erick heard George Harrison playing While My Guitar Gently Weeps, that made Erick pick up a broken guitar and use a hammer to form the guitar into tone. Erick Mars spent the rest of the year learning guitar and at the age of 19, 499 Erick's first album, was crafted. Erick launched 10 songs right out of the gate ranking 45K streams alone.

Erick Mars also asked Cruz C. during his guitar 2 class in high School. During class Erick asked Cruz C. if he wanted to make a song and Cruz C. said, "Sure." Later on making a song called Liebe, Finishing off the Erick Mars record.
